THE Wollongong Roller Hawks' Jekyll-and-Hyde personality surfaced over the weekend in a weekend split with the Perth Wheelcats at Shellharbour Basketball Stadium.
Wollongong were expected to have little trouble notching two wins against the National Wheelchair Basketball League cellar dwellers.
Everything went to plan in Saturday night's 80-63 triumph before the Roller Hawks became the victims of the biggest upset of the season in yesterday's 71-70 loss.
``We did a St George Illawarra - good one night, ordinary the next," Wollongong player-coach Andrew Tarrant said.
As usual, Australian team member Tristan Knowles led the Roller Hawks with 43 points and 13 rebounds in the 17-point win.
The 21-year-old backed up with 35 and 11 in yesterday's loss.
His Australian team-mate Shaun Norris was on a mission for the Wheelcats, with 34 points and 10 rebounds on Saturday and 32 and 12 in Perth's first victory of the season.
Norris showed his hand early with four threes in the first quarter on Saturday.
He saved his best till last with the go-ahead three in the final minute of the follow-up clash.
Wollongong had a chance to win but missed a lay-up in the dying seconds.
