Like Kevin Dickson (4/9) I also have returned recently from a visit to Perth. I endorse everything he has said in praise of the public transport system in Perth and particularly the trains.
One thing he forget to mention was their great comfort. At first I thought they must have rubber-tyred wheels, but was told later that it was the air suspension. In any case, we frequently took a ride for the sheer pleasure it afforded us. -- Tom Spencer, Ferntree Gully.
